Speaker	Ir. Dr. Philip Tan Dr Philip Tan has been active in the electricity power industry for the last 39 years. He is currently the Honorary President of Penjanabebas (the Association of Independent Power Producers of Malaysia). Dr Philip Tan has given various talks and/or conducted various courses to engineers, executives, senior media editors, analysts and insurers involved in the power industries. He is a registered Dr Philip Tan opted for optional retirement from TNB in 1 January 1996 to join Genting Sanyen Power Sdn Bhd initially as Senior General Manager, subsequently as Executive Vice President, then as Technical Direction (Power) and now as Executive Consultant.
Talk Synopsis	This talk is targeted for engineers and technical managers who have little knowledge of engineering economics and financial background but require some understanding so as to add greater value to their technical career or even to their every day activities
