It was great to read the UNITEN blog and here about your activities in the IMechE Student Chapter. I thoroughly enjoyed the visit out to Malaysia and was greatly encouraged to see so many people wanting to pursue an engineering career. My very best wishes to all of you in your studies, and subsequently when you move out into industry. As promised I will aim to visit Malaysia again, probably in 2009, and will certainly have UNITEN on my visit agenda.

Welcoming Speech

Dear Fellow Mechanical Comrades,

Greetings to all! The existence of this blog marks another great leap towards the progress of the student chapter. This blog will serve as a medium to update members and the mechanical department on the progress of the club and upcoming activities. I hope members will frequently visit this page as there will be updates from time to time. If there is any ideas, please do voice out your opinions on the shout out box on the right bottom of the page.

Till then, Happy holidays to those who are just relaxing at home for the next 3 months, happy working for those who are doing industrial training and part time jobs and all the best in whatever you guys are venturing! Hope to see you guys soon.
